Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Codivo (the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Spin Clash mobile game (the “Application”).
Information stored on your device
The Application stores gameplay information locally so that the game can function and preserve your progress. This may include settings, language, game progress, selected battle tops and arenas, virtual currency, unlocked content, mastery progress, campaign state, purchase-entitlement records, and local gameplay statistics. Local save data is protected with device-backed encryption where supported.
Local data remains on your device unless you choose to use an online or nearby feature described below. You can remove local data by clearing the Application’s storage or uninstalling the Application.
Google Play Games and optional cloud saves
If you enable cloud backup, the Application uses Google Play Games Services to authenticate your Google Play Games profile and store a copy of your game progress in a Google-hosted saved-game snapshot. Google may process your Play Games player identifier, account information, device information, and cloud-save data under its own privacy terms. We do not operate a separate account server for this feature.
Rewarded advertising
The Application uses Google Mobile Ads to load and display optional rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address, advertising identifier, device and app information, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance. Watching a rewarded ad is optional, but the advertising SDK may contact Google to prepare an ad before you choose to view it.
Google Play purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment details and transaction information. The Application receives limited purchase information, such as the product identifier, purchase state, and purchase token, to deliver the purchased virtual currency and prevent duplicate delivery. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Nearby and local multiplayer
Local duels may use your local Wi-Fi network, hotspot, Bluetooth, and Google Nearby Connections to discover and communicate with nearby devices. During a room or match, the Application may exchange a player name, selected top and arena identifiers, ready state, launch choices, gameplay inputs, match snapshots, and match results with the devices that join the same room. This information is used for the active local session and is not sent to a Codivo-operated matchmaking server.
On supported Android versions, nearby-device discovery may require Bluetooth, nearby Wi-Fi, or legacy location permissions. These permissions are used to establish nearby connections; the Application does not use them to build a location history. The camera permission is used only when you choose to scan a Spin Clash room QR code. The Application does not save photographs or video from the QR scanner.
Diagnostics and performance information
The Application may create performance reports on the device when diagnostic tools are manually used. These reports are not automatically uploaded to Codivo. If you choose to send a support report, the support page includes the application name, device model, phone and game languages, operating-system version, local time and time zone, game version, graphics settings, and graphics adapter where available. Your report may also include the text you write and an optional reply email. Codivo receives this information only when you submit the report. The support service records the submission time and an approximate country based on network information to help investigate issues and prevent abuse. Android, Google Play, advertising, billing, and Play Games services may independently collect crash, diagnostic, security, or usage information under their own policies.
Third-party services
The Application uses or may interact with the following third-party services:
- Google Privacy Policy
- Google advertising technologies
- Google Play Games Services and saved games
- Google Play Billing
- Google Nearby Connections
Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Their retention periods and privacy controls are determined by them.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to provide the features described above, comply with law, protect users and the Application, or complete a transaction you request.
Data retention and deletion
Local game information is retained until you clear the Application’s storage or uninstall it. Optional cloud-save data is retained through Google Play Games according to your Google account and Play Games settings. Purchase records are retained by Google Play according to Google’s legal and transaction requirements. To request help concerning data controlled directly by Codivo, contact us through the support page below.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including protected local saves where supported. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so that we can review the request.
Your choices
- You may decline camera and nearby-device permissions; local QR joining or nearby fallback connections may then be unavailable.
- You may choose not to enable Play Games cloud backup.
- You may choose not to watch rewarded advertisements.
- You may clear local data through Android settings or uninstall the Application.
- You may manage Google account, advertising, Play Games, and purchase settings through the relevant Google services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application, its services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
