Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 9, 2026

1. Introduction

Stash is a personal organization app for remembering where your physical items are stored. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used by the app, where it is stored, and how optional services such as Google Drive, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, app lock, and screen capture protection work.

2. Information You Add to Stash

Stash may store the information you choose to add inside the app, including item names, descriptions, categories, location notes, item photos, view preferences, theme/font preferences, backup settings, and app lock preferences.

This content is stored on your device by default. Stash does not operate a server that receives, stores, or reviews your personal item content.

3. Local Backups

Stash may allow you to create local backup files on your phone or in a location you choose on your device. These local backup files can contain your item information and photos. You are responsible for keeping local backup files secure and for deleting them when you no longer need them.

4. Google Drive Backups

Google Drive backup and restore are optional features. When you use Google Drive backup, your backup data is stored in your own Google Drive account. Stash does not store a copy of your backup data on Codivo servers and does not have independent access to your Google Drive files outside the permissions you grant for the backup feature.

Google Drive access and storage are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. You can manage or revoke access through your Google account settings.

5. Analytics Data

Stash does not use Firebase Analytics or any other in-app analytics SDK to track screen views, app opens, or usage behavior.

We do not collect analytics events about how you move through the app.

6. Advertising

Stash uses Google AdMob to display ads to free users and to support certain ad-based actions, such as adding more items after free limits or using some cloud backup/restore actions without Pro access. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to provide, measure, and personalize ads according to Google's policies.

Pro users may receive an ad-free experience for features included in Pro access. You can manage personalized ads through your device or Google settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases & Pro Access

Stash Pro access and purchase management are handled through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment information. Stash does not collect or store your credit card number or other payment details.

Purchase status may be used locally or through Google Play Billing to determine whether Pro features are available to you.

8. App Lock, Biometrics & Screen Capture Protection

Stash may offer an app lock feature that uses Android system authentication, such as device credentials or biometric authentication. Stash does not collect, store, or access your biometric data, fingerprint, face data, PIN, password, or device unlock pattern. Authentication is handled by Android system services.

If you enable screen capture protection, Stash may ask Android to block screenshots or screen recording for protected screens. This feature works on the device and does not cause Stash to collect additional personal data.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Your notes, item data, photos, settings, and backup files remain on your device and, if you choose Google Drive backup, in your Google Drive account until you delete them or uninstall/clear app data. Because Stash does not maintain server-side copies of your personal content, Codivo generally cannot restore content you deleted from your device or Google Drive.

10. Data Security & Liability

We use reasonable security practices for the app features we control. However, no device, cloud service, or backup method can be guaranteed to be completely secure or always available. You are responsible for securing your device, Google account, local backup files, and any exported data.

11. Children's Privacy

Stash is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Stash after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
