Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Codivo ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use The Seal: Final Verdict (the "Game"). It also explains how Google and our content-delivery provider process information needed for optional features. For privacy questions, contact us through the support page.

Information kept on your device

The Game stores the information needed to play and resume: settings and language choices; story decisions and run progress; unlocked titles; downloaded DLC content; virtual Seal balance, earnings and spending; DLC access; and records used to prevent a Google Play purchase from being credited twice. This information is stored on your device and protected using the Game's local storage safeguards. Clearing the Game's data or uninstalling it removes the local copy, although a Play Games cloud copy may still exist.

Google Play Games and cloud saves

The Game attempts to sign in to Google Play Games when it starts. When sign-in succeeds, it receives your Play Games player identifier and display name. The Game may automatically synchronize a saved-game snapshot containing your story progress, active runs, Seal balance and transaction history, titles, and DLC access. This supports recovery and play across devices. Google stores and processes the snapshot and Play Games profile information under its own privacy terms. The Game does not create a separate Codivo game account or keep a copy of your saved game on a Codivo account server. You can still play locally when Play Games is unavailable, but cloud recovery and some purchase-related features may then be unavailable.

Rewarded advertising

When rewarded ads are configured, the Game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to prepare and display optional rewarded ads. You decide whether to watch an ad for an offered in-game reward. The SDK may contact Google to load an ad before you choose to watch it. Google and its advertising partners may collect or process IP address, advertising or app identifiers, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from network information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Google Play purchases

If Seal packs are offered for real money, purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment and retains transaction records under its own policies. The Game receives limited purchase data, such as product identifier, purchase state, and purchase token, to credit Seals, prevent duplicate delivery, and support recovery. The Game does not receive your full payment-card number. Purchased Seals are consumable virtual currency; DLC unlocked with Seals is recorded in your game data and may be synchronized through Play Games.

DLC catalog and downloads

The Game connects to a Codivo-operated DLC delivery service hosted on Cloudflare to check the catalog and download story packs and cover images. The service and Cloudflare may receive technical request information such as IP address, requested file, time of request, and device or network headers to deliver content, maintain service reliability, and protect against abuse. DLC requests are not used to create a separate game account.

Support messages

If you submit the Codivo support form, we receive the message, any files you attach, and any reply email you choose to provide. The form may also include the app name, device and system details, language, game version, time zone, and an approximate country inferred from network information. We use these details to respond, investigate problems, and prevent abuse. The support privacy notice explains that service in more detail.

Who processes information

These providers may process information under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed for the features described here, to protect the service, or as required by law.

Security, retention, and managing your data

Network connections for Google services and DLC delivery use HTTPS. We apply reasonable safeguards to data stored by the Game, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

There is no separate The Seal or Codivo game account to delete. Your local game data remains on your device until you clear the Game's storage in Android settings or uninstall the Game. This removes only the device copy; signing back in to Play Games may restore a cloud save.

To remove the Play Games copy for this Game, first clear the Game's local storage or uninstall it so the local save is not synchronized again. Then follow Google's instructions for deleting an individual game's Play Games data from your Google account. Google controls the retention of Play Games data and Google Play purchase records under its own policies. Deleting game progress does not necessarily delete Google's purchase records.

Support reports are separate from game saves. If you submit a support message, its contents and attachments are stored by the Codivo support service for handling that request. To request deletion of a support report, use the support page and include its tracking number. This support process does not delete your local save or Play Games data.

Your choices

Children

The Game is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to Codivo, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game or its services change. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
